Voice of Korea is North Korea’s official international broadcasting station. Until 2002 it was known as Radio Pyongyang.

VOK broadcasts primarily information in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.

Voice of Korea broadcasts on shortwave radio frequencies, as well as on medium wave for broadcasts aimed at neighboring countries.

The Voice of Korea Internet homepage has provided the world’s netizens with a variety of audio and text contents in 9 different languages. website

Southeast Asia:

  • 05:00 – 05:57 UTC: 13650 and 15105 kHz

The Middle East and Northern Africa:

  • 16:00 – 16: 57 UTC: 9890 and 11645 kHz
  • 19:00 – 19: 57 UTC: 9875 and 11635 kHz

Southern Africa:

  • 19:00 – 19: 57 UTC: 7210, 11910 kHz

Central and South America:

  • 04:00 – 04:57 UTC: 11735, 13760 and 15180 kHz
  • 10:00 – 10: 57 UTC: 11710 and 15180 kHz
